Mr. Reid is a former Managing Partner of Brookfield Asset Management Inc., where he led Brookfield’s Private Equity Group located in Calgary, Alberta. In that role, he was responsible for originating, evaluating and structuring investments and financings in the energy sector and overseeing operations in Brookfield’s private equity energy segment. Prior to moving into the private equity group, Mr. Reid was the CIO, Energy for Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. He established Brookfield’s Calgary office in 2003 after spending several years as a Chief Financial Officer for two oil and gas exploration and production companies in Western Canada.

As Managing Partner of Chestnut Grove Capital, Mr. Reid is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company, guiding the firm’s investment strategy, and fostering Chestnut Grove’s investment and philanthropic giving through the Three Sisters Charitable Foundation.

Mr. Reid obtained his Chartered Accountant designation at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Toronto and holds a Bachelor of Arts in commerce from the University of Toronto.

Djordje Petrovic joined Chestnut Grove in 2025. As Vice President, Investments, he is responsible is responsible for generating, evaluating, and making recommendations on investment opportunities in a broad range of asset classes in both public and private markets through diligent research and analysis. Djordje also supports Chestnut Grove in investment strategy, portfolio monitoring, risk management, and execution across all asset classes. In addition to his core role at Chestnut Grove, he also acts as Portfolio Co-Manager for the Three Sisters Charitable Foundation, a private charitable organization that is focused on giving within Alberta.

Prior to Chestnut Grove, Djordje spent 7+ years at CIBC Capital Markets culminating in his role as a Director, Corporate Banking. Djordje holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Mount Royal University
